Wings of Hope

The organisation “Wings of Hope for Trauma” is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, which was founded in 2011 and has its head office in the old city of Bethlehem.

Their goal is to help traumatized people out of the passive victimhood, support them by building a future and get a new hope.

In the help center “Wings of Hope for Trauma”, pepole find support in terms of trauma therapy and pedagogy, on Basis of KreST-model (Körper-, Ressourcen – und Systemorientierte Traumatherapie / body, ressources and system oriented trauma therapy), after Lutz Ulrich Besser.

The trauma center is leaded by Ursula Mukarker.

Shehada Shalalda | Violin Maker

Shehada Shelalda is violin maker in Ramallah and works at the music school Al Kamandjati.
At the age of 15, he started violin making and learned among others in England. Today he’s dedicated to build first class string instruments, which he also lends to the Al Kamandjati students.

Above all, he is our “first man” when we need to fix an instrument we got through our association, so that we can give it to a child who needs it.
