In the past, a music theatre project with German and Palestinian pupils, concerts for example in Bethlehem and different music educational initiatives belonged to the projects of the association “Music can help”. These programmes aim at improving the life situation of disadvantaged children. Sibylle Stier is the chairperson of the association and works as lecturer in piano at the university of Augsburg. During the interview, she speaks about her many years of experience with the intercultural musical work in areas of conflict and with the association “Music can help”.
